• At Sunshine Early Learning Center, we envision a welcoming, nurturing community where every child’s unique talents are discovered, celebrated, and intentionally developed. We commit to fostering the whole child — cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively — so each child builds the life skills and confidence needed to thrive now and in the future.

Personal:

• I’m Raghida Arbid, Director of Sunshine Early Learning Center. I hold a Master’s in Elementary Reading from Walden University and a BS in Elementary Teaching from Northern Illinois University. Teaching in the U.S. and at Expat Aramco schools in Saudi Arabia inspired me to return to Lebanon and apply my experience to support young learners. I believe formal instruction should not be seen as beginning only at school entry—meaningful learning starts much earlier. At our daycare, we offer developmentally appropriate, play‑based, literacy‑rich experiences that foster social skills, school readiness, and a lifelong love of learning."
